Corrugator Equipments Introduction

Corrugator equipment refers to the machinery and tools used in the production process of corrugated board or Cardboard . These equipment systems are designed to handle the various stages of corrugated board manufacturing, from the initial fluting of paper to the final formation of corrugated board sheets. • single facer : The single facer is the first stage of the corrugator machine where the paperboard is corrugated. It consists of a set of corrugating rolls and glue application systems that create the fluted medium.
• Glue Unit: The glue unit is responsible for applying adhesive to the flute tips of the corrugated medium. It typically consists of a glue Roll and a metering roll, which control the amount of glue applied.
• preheater : The preheater section preheats the liner sheets before they come into contact with the corrugated medium. This helps in ensuring proper bonding and adhesion between the layers.
• double facer: The double facer section combines the preheated liner sheets with the corrugated medium, applying pressure and heat to create a strong bond. It consists of hot plates or heated cylinders that facilitate the bonding process.
• slitter scorer: The slitter scorer section is responsible for cutting the bonded sheets into desired widths and simultaneously scoring them to create folding lines. It typically consists of multiple pairs of slitting and scoring knives.
• Stacker: The stacker receives the finished corrugated board sheets and stacks them in neat piles for further processing or packaging. It may feature automatic stacking and sheet counting mechanisms.
• Control Systems: Corrugator equipment incorporates control systems that monitor and regulate various parameters such as temperature, speed, and tension throughout the production process. These systems ensure consistent quality and efficient operation.
