Product Description of Nano Aerogel Felt
Nano aerogel felt is based on silica aerogel, and has a large number of nanopores in its internal structure. It is composited with glass fiber or pre-oxidized fiber to increase its mechanical properties. This material has a low thermal conductivity (0.013-0.025 W/(m·K)), can maintain stable performance at high temperatures, and also has good compressive and tensile strength and durability. In terms of thermal insulation, silica nano aerogel felt performs well. Its thermal conductivity is much lower than that of traditional insulation materials, and it can achieve the same insulation effect at a thinner thickness. This means that in the insulation of equipment and pipelines, the use of silica nano aerogel felt can greatly reduce the thickness of the insulation layer, reduce heat loss, and improve energy efficiency.
