Classification of Axial Flow Pump
A water pump in which the liquid flows along the axis of the pump shaft is called an axial flow pump. Axial flow
Pumps are divided into ZLB, ZLK, ZLDB, deep well axial flow pumps, submersible axial flow horizontal axial flow pumps, etc., with many varieties. The company's main products are ZLB, ZLK, and ZLDB axial flow pumps. Currently, the most commonly used are ZLB pumps, ZLK types, and ZLDB types. In the past two years, there has been a trend towards ZLDB type.
Common Types
(1) ZLB type is a single-stage Vertical Axial Flow Pump. The transmission mode is a three-stage transmission, consisting of a motor, an intermediate transmission shaft, and a water pump main shaft; b. The installation requirements are high, and the water pump installation surface and the motor storage installation surface must be horizontal and parallel to each other: c. The motor axis, the transmission shaft axis, and the water pump main shaft center must be on the same line to ensure the concentricity of the water pump. Only with the horizontal parallelism of the installation surface and the concentricity of the axis can the water pump run smoothly, otherwise, the water pump will vibrate during operation. If it is not adjusted in time, it will bring serious adverse consequences to the water pump, such as loosening of the connecting bolts, distortion of the transmission shaft, and accelerated wear of the rubber bearings, shaft plating and bearing box ball bearings, thereby shortening the service life of the water pump.
(2) ZLK type is an open axial flow pump. It has the advantages of light weight, low head, large flow, high efficiency, and strong drainage and sewage discharge capacity; it is suitable for drainage in low-lying areas near lakes and urban sewage discharge, and can be used for irrigation in areas with a head of less than 3.5 meters. The new models include 600ZLK700ZLK-2, 800ZLK-2, etc., which are more scientific, reasonable and stable than the original water pumps. Double rubber bearings are used for positioning to increase the flow rate and head by increasing the speed. The pump can be driven by a vertical belt or directly connected to a motor. According to the different power, the working efficiency can be changed, giving full play to the comprehensive performance advantages of the pump. It is the first-class pump type for irrigation and drainage.
(3) ZLDB type is a vertical single-base axial flow pump. This single-base axial flow pump is the development trend of water pumps. It is easy to install and maintain. It only needs to be level during installation. The pump is a single shaft from top to bottom, automatically concentric. As long as it is level, there is basically no vibration, fewer faults, stable operation, and long service life of each component. When repairing the impeller or the lower rubber bearing, there is no need to go into the water or build a dam. As long as the outlet connection bolts are removed and the machine foot bolts are removed, the entire pump can be lifted out of the water for maintenance. When building a pump room, the height of the pump room and the reserved pump size of the installation slot should be properly considered.
Submersible Axial Flow Pump are extensively used for hydraulic projects, farm-land irrigation, industrial water transportation, water supply and drainage ofcities and water allocation engineering.
Suitable for pumping pure water or other liquids of the physical chemical natures similar to those of pure water.

Structure
ZLB(Q) and HLB(Q) series products are all vertical structures and equipped with vertical motors. According to the blade adjustment, they are divided into fixed, semi-adjustable and fully adjustable types. The blades and hub are cast as one piece for fixed type, and the blade angle is not adjustable: for semi-adjustable type, when the working conditions need to be changed, the blade fastening screws can be loosened, the blades can be rotated to the required angle, and then all blades can be re-fixed; Z(H)LQ type is fully adjustable, and the blade angle can be adjusted by mechanical or hydraulic adjustment mechanism when the machine is stopped or not.
Vertical axial (mixed) flow pumps are mainly composed of the main body and the transmission part. The main body generally contains the water inlet pipe, impeller, guide vane body, pump shaft, elbow and intermediate pipe, sealing assembly and coupling, etc. The water inlet pipe of small and medium-sized pumps generally uses the water inlet trumpet; large pumps use elbow or bell-shaped water inlet channels, which are cast with concrete and equipped with imported foundation parts. The adjustable impeller is composed of blades (usually made of stainless steel or copper alloy), hubs, water guide cones, etc. The impellers of small and medium-sized pumps are connected to the pump shaft with flat keys and nuts, and the hubs of large pumps and fully adjustable pumps are connected to the main shaft flange. The guide bearings of the pump are rubber bearings, which can be lubricated with flowing water or additional clean water. When using flowing water for lubrication, water must be supplied to the upper rubber bearing through the water pipe before starting, and the water supply can be stopped only after the water pump discharges water normally.
The transmission part of small and medium-sized pumps is directly driven by a vertical motor. The vertical motor is installed on the motor seat and connected to the transmission shaft through an elastic coupling. The motor seat is equipped with radial bearings and thrust bearings, which are lubricated with grease or oil: the bearing box of larger power ones has a water-cooled interlayer outside. Large pumps are equipped with large vertical motors, which are directly installed on the motor foundation beam. The motor shaft flange and the water pump shaft flange (reamed hole) are connected with bolts. The axial force of the water pump is borne by the thrust bearing of the large vertical motor.
Looking down from the motor end, the water pump rotates clockwise.
